Creating the game slowly, but noticed the room descriptions have a date on them, example below. Is there a way to remove that information?

That is part of the room description in Ares games. One is the IC date, the other is the OOC date. (They start out the same until you configure the IC time system.)
Many people like to have the dates for reference in RP logs so you know when the RP took place. Removing it requires custom code to alter the room description template.
