With more and more players utilizing the web portal, plus both EmberJS and Ubuntu increasing their memory demands, I am changing the official recommended droplet size for Ares to the 2GB droplet ($10/month).
You can still run on the 1GB size if you need to. There’s just a better-than-average chance that you’ll have to restart your entire droplet after every upgrade, and your portal won’t be as snappy overall.
