Character Page not Auto Updating Post Chargen

Wasn’t sure how to title this. I’m working on the wiki for a new game. There is a Character page on the wiki and the characters also have pages on the wiki that loaded after chargen. However, the main Character page is not showing any of the characters.

The path for the character page on the site is .com/wiki/characters. Instead of just .com/characters. Not sure how to change it.

I’ve managed to link most of our other pages that don’t have a direct route by using the url directly, but was not sure how to apply it to the character page.

To link to the built-in characters page you should have this in your website.yml - top_navbar, under whichever heading you want it:

    - title: Characters
      route: characters

Sorry, I’m not really sure what you’re trying to do.

Ares comes with a built in character directory that lives at yoursite.com/chars. You don’t have to do anything to make that work; it’s just built in automatically.
