FYI for the folks who weren’t on the discord this morning…
A botched AresCentral server upgrade exposed a bug in the game code that caused significant lag when someone logs in with aresmush.com down (the whole server, not just AresCentral). This affected all Ares games, but everything’s back to normal now.
Will fix the bug in the next patch so it doesn’t happen again - AresCentral is meant to be an accessory, it’s not supposed to cripple the games if it’s not there.
