Server was shutdown unexpectedly and now I’m unable to boot the game.
AresMUSH failed to start. Check the highest-numbered log in game/logs from more information.
When I check the log the latest the only errors showing are from before the server was unexpectedly shutdown (when the game was running).
Please advise.
That’s strange. Sometimes if you try to boot in debug mode it will give you some additional information. In the server shell, type:
cd aresmush
bin/devstart
Hopefully that will print out whatever the problem is.

If you open that file in an editor, do you see the stray equals sign? You can edit it on the server shell using a text editor like nano:
cd aresmush
nano game/styles/custom_style.scss
Worst case, you can just copy any existing styles somewhere safe (a notepad editor or whatever on your PC) and delete everything in the file. That should let you get the game back up and running again, and you can use the web portal to paste things back in bit by bit.
