The game closed. Abruptly. Apparently, with no warning to anyone. I was gone for a few days, tried to log in, and nothing. I guess I’m a little bitter. It would have been nice if someone had said why, even if it was just a post on AresCentral’s forum.

I never really found much joy playing there. It’s very staff/plot driven instead of day to day character driven. If that’s your thing, great. Their plot architects know their stuff and are very talented. It’s not my thing. Add a touch of OOC drama to remind me to leave, and I left.

The game closed. Staff there was among the best I’ve ever encountered in my 30+ years of MUSHing. Ultimately, it folded because the Covid lockdowns ended and we all (especially staff) didn’t have the free time we needed for it anymore.
